Scymaris are delighted to have joined Chemicals Northwest as a member organisation.
Chemicals Northwest is an industry-led, support organisation for the North West and surrounding areas chemical sector, and is the largest in the UK. Funded by members and owned and supported by the Chemical Industries Association.
With over 140 members Chemicals Northwest actively promote this important regional sector.
Their aim is to improve the sustainability, competitiveness and image of the chemicals industry by:
• Facilitate networking events, common interest groups, interactive workshops and awards dinner, all aimed at covering topical industry issues.
• Support projects and programmes that identify and enhance business performance and generally support continuous improvement across the sector.
• Promote the science and engineering-based skills landscape, addressing the region’s future needs.
• Improve the image of the industry, including generating a positive reputation through communicating achievements and success.
• Contribute to the industry’s strategic voice and the national growth agenda aligned to the work of the Chemical Industries Association.
• Connect the community of chemistry-using businesses and the vital supply chains in the northwest of England.
