Ecotoxicology
Cameron is an Ecotoxicology Study Director with over 10 years’ experience across research, academia, and industry, including facility management. Cameron has a PhD in ecotoxicology from the University of Exeter, which investigated the effects of pharmaceuticals in the environment on aquatic invertebrates and the impact of changing environmental conditions on these effects.
Cameron has numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications and has academic post-doctoral experience working on research projects ranging from optimisation of animal culturing methods to cryopreservation. His experience as a GLP study director includes aquatic acute and chronic tests to OECD, EPA, and ISO guidelines, with species including algae, invertebrates and fish, alongside bespoke study designs. In particular, Cameron has extensive experience of running sediment-spiked studies with benthic aquatic organisms.
