This test is designed to investigate long term potential effects of a single exposure of agrochemicals/non agrochemicals on carbon transformation activity of soil microorganisms.
Samples of soil are taken on 4 occasions (Days 0, 7, 14 and 28) and analysed for carbon dioxide content. Additional assessment of carbon dioxide content of the soil can be carried out, at day 100, if required.
