Having worked at Scymaris for over 2 years, Tom is now an Aquatic Ecotoxicology Study Director, working on regulatory ecotoxicology studies in a GLP-laboratory. His ecotoxicology experience comes from working here at Scymaris, although he has relevant experience from his degree in Marine Biology and Coastal Ecology (BSc). Tom progressed through the Scymaris Study Director programme having started as a Laboratory Technician. His first big stepping stone being overseeing the non-GLP screening work. He is now works on acute and chronic studies with aquatic invertebrates (Mysids, Daphnia and Chironomids) with upcoming training to be able to work with fish.
