He has a PhD from Brunel University/Centre for Ecology & Hydrology in Biology and Biochemistry Research, which investigated Endocrine disruption in UK fish. He has post-doctoral experience in academia working on research projects in ecotoxicology, including both in vivo and in vitro methods and the promotion of alternative tests in line with the ‘3Rs.’ Richard also has experience in regulatory ecotoxicology as a Study Director and likes to get hands on with a wide range of aquatic tests following OECD and USEPA guidelines. In particular he has experience of running longer term chronic studies and designing bespoke experiments to suit individual requirements.
